Homeschool Concierge

Part of the service that WATCH provides to the Christian homeschool community in Washington is the transfer of information and services - like a concierge would do.

As the largest "school district" in the state, homeschoolers as a group are sought after by businesses and service organizations.  We receive helpful information regularly that we can pass along to you.

Our WATCH members get information delivered to them immediately through our Yahoogroup, WATCHHome

WATCH looks for and obtains donations for homeschool families. These donations come from Office Depot and other sources meant for our membership.  These donations include, but are not limited to, file cabinets, clocks, paper, printers, notebooks and white boards.  These are availble exclusively to our members at our homeschool conference.

If you would like to become a member and receive these concierge benefits, you may get more information here.

We also produce a monthly newsletter that goes to people on our mailing list, and we pass along helpful information on a space available basis.  To sign up for our free newsletter, join our mailing list.

Here is one example of information we receive that we pass along.

Homeschool Buyers Co-op

We've found an amazing resource that combines the buying power of thousands upon thousands of individual homeschool families to obtain discounts equivalent to those obtained by school districts.  Membership is free and completely confidential.  The Co-op’s signature service is a “Group Buy” through which Co-op members get deep discounts on curriculum items that would otherwise be extremely expensive.  Through the Co-op you can save anywhere from 20% to 80% on your curriculum purchases.  The Co-op has standing discounts of 50% for Discovery Education’s video-streaming service, 88% for Kaplan’s Online SAT prep, up to 70% for Thinkwell, and the list goes on.  There are often special deep discounts on certain Microsoft developer software packages for high school students we also want you to check out! You'll be pleased to know the Co-op is run by a homeschool family. http://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org
